MINNESOTA: Senator Larry Craig (R-ID) has been scouting out
the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, site of the upcoming
Republican National Convention.
"Contrary to some public perceptions, Republicans aren't all
stodgy, repressed individuals," said Craig. "I like to have fun just
like the guy next to me."
"Some conventioneers think the convention center is too small,
but real Republicans can have fun in small places, too.
I can't tell you how many times I've been sitting down in a
public place, then my toes start a-tappin', and soon I'm
having my own private party!"
