LOS ANGELES: Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa
acknowledged July 3rd that he
is in a relationship with a member of the liberal media.
The announcement of his infidelity overshadowed later comments, where the
Democratic mayor threw his political support behind former New York
City mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Despite being from different political
parties, Villaraigosa said he understood the pressures of being the
mayor of a big city and "anyone who can successfully have an affair
in his personal life while handling the affairs of New York is
clearly qualified to be president."
Villaraigosa is in the midst of
divorce proceedings with his first wife while Giuliani is on his
third marriage. "Yeah, I get it now," said the LA mayor with
admiration.
