FLORIDA: Bob Allen (R-FL House), McCain's Florida
co-chairman,
said he's proud of the jobs he's gotten
done while working for McCain.
Allen's voting record is solidly Republican, which has
been reflected in his efforts in getting McCain
the Republican nomination. "There's none of those
'backdoor shenanigans' you get with other candidates,"
Allen was quoted as saying. "With McCain, you get a
real academician."
Allen was preparing for a McCain rally in Titusville's
Veteran's Memorial Park. "I'll be packing fudge this
afternoon and we'll have some fun water sports later."
