I DA HO: Senator Larry Craig (R-id) announced at a news
conference today that he
is a bicyclist.
"I am not gay. I am a bicyclist," said Craig. "Some people may be
shocked by this news; I have struggled for years over my bicycling
past, and now I'm ready to publically state that I'm a bicyclist."
Senator Craig's custom-built Schwing bicycle has extra-wide pedals
to accomodate his unusually wide stance.
