DAVENPORT, IOWA: Researchers into alpha dreamstates have announced
new findings in how dreams relate to health and emotional
states.
"We divided dreams into different 'colors'," said Dr. Noam Downey,
a researcher with the Fyre Sygn Slumber Mill, a group that
does extensive dream experiments. "'Red' ideas in dreams are
related to personal experiences, like flying. 'Blue' ideas
are religious, 'Green' ideas are political, and so on,"
explained Dr. Downey.
"We then compared the subject's endochrine emissions while
dreaming with their awakened emotional states -- happy, sad,
angry -- and tried to match up their dream-color with the
corresponding emotion."
"Curious - 'green' ideas sleep furiously."
