WASHINGTON: PResident Bush addressed the nation on Thursday
night on a plan to reduce troop levels back to pre-surge
levels in about a year.
"This war is too important for one president; that's why I'm leaving
this quagmire to whoever succeeds me in office," said Bush.
"I lied my country into this war and I'll lie to get myself
out of it."
"I feel that this shows how much I and my administration have
accomplished since the surge began," continued Bush. "Exactly
nothing, unless you count all those dead soldiers."
