WASHINGTON: President Bush, who has yet to name a successor
to disgraced Attorney Generalisimo Alberto VO5 Gonzales,
will be using a hat once owned by Abraham Lincoln to decide.
"I'm the decider, and I've decided to write all the names
of the nominees on pieces of paper and put them in a stovepipe
hat once owned by Lincoln," said Bush. "Then I've decided to
draw one of the pieces out of the hat and appoint whoever's
name I draw. Then it's decided."
One enterprising lawyer has legally changed his name to "7 1/8"
in hopes of becoming the new US Attorney General.
