WASHINGTON: President Bush berated Democrats for buying an ad
for MoveOn.org which said that General Praetorius was
"Betraeying Us."
Bush, speaking extemporaneously from a script, spent several
minutes haranging Democrats for running the ad, which was run
by MoveOn.org.
The ad, Bush said, "was disgusting. It was an attack not only
on General Praetorius but on the US military. ... I was
disappointed that not more leaders in the Democratic
Party spoke out more strongly against that kind of ad.
I know the Republicans firmly condemned ads like the
Swiftboat ads and the one that compared a multiple amputee
veteran to Osama bin Laden. BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Just kidding.
Rove pulled that crap."
