WASHINGTON: Former political somebody Newt Gingrich has
announced he will not seek the Republican nomination
for president.
Gingrich, 64, was Speaker of the House from 1995 to 1999,
and decided not to run, purportedly because he could not
"legally" remain head of a policial PAC while seeking
the nomination.
Keen Gingrich observers will tag this as a hollow excuse,
as legality has never held back Newt Gingrich before.
He starred in a 1966 television cartoon, "How The Gingrich
Stole Christmas"
