DE NILE, EGYPT: Fred Thompson, actor on "Lawn Odor",
was not renewed for another season
due to the ongoing voter's strike.
"Today, I have withdrawn my candidacy for District Attorney.
I hope that my country and my network have benefited from my
having made this effort," Thompson said in a statement.
He is being replaced by reruns of "Huckabee Hound."
