HERSHEY HIGHWAY, PENNSYLVANIA: Nabisco Corp. has announced
that they are renaming their flagship Oreo cookie
the "Obamo" in honor of the historic Demoncratic candidate.
At a news conference to announce the change, spokesman
John McLaughlin said "Obama fits the
stereotype blacks once labeled as an Oreo, a black on
the outside, a white on the inside. Does it frost Jackson, Jesse
Jackson, that an Oreo should be the beneficiary of the long civil
rights struggle which Jesse Jackson spent his lifetime fighting for?"
In related news, M&M/Mars announced the "Jesse Jackson"
candy bar -- a Snickers with the nuts cut off.
PS: Immediately after the news conference, John McLaughlin was fired.
