SPITTOON, TEXAS: Dodging literal "rotten tomatoes" (courtesy of the
current government's lax enforcement of health standards), George
Papoon, TALONNEWS' endorsed candidate, came out unscathed.
"I can dodge tomatoes sent by foes as easily as the other
candidates dodge the issues," said Papoon to much audience
laughter and applause. "I'm the only real candidate running,
after all."
Tomatoes across the country have been recalled due to
salmonella poisoning; among the hardest hit is the
unfortunately named "Sam 'n' Ella's Industrial Strength Tomatoes"
Afterwards, Dan Quayle sang "You spell tomatoe and I spell potatoe"
