INTERNETS: Internet bloggers, an unending source of
pig ignorance, are aghast that the European Court of Human
Rights has ruled that state schools can't impose religion on children.
Ironically, many bloggers have condemned this defense of religious
civil rights as "fascist," apparently ignorant that the 1924 law in Italy
requiring crucifixes on school walls was passed by "the fascist
who made fascism fashionable," Benito Mussolini.
To these bloggers, state schools are animate objects that
walk, talk, and have the "right" to promote their "religion,"
and removing a longstanding privilege to make a level playing
field suddenly looks "slanted."
Life is like a box of fascists; you never know what you're
going to get.
