INTERTUBES: The world is officially mad at Tim Berens-Lee,
the instigator of
the internet.
Specifically, they are mad because of all the time wasted so
far in speaking web addresses. "double-u, double-u, double-u
is NINE SYLLABLES!" carped Diem Hein, a computer researchez
from the Netherworld. "It takes SOOOO LONG to tell someone
a web address, I estimate it has already cost over a billion
man-years in wasted speaking time."
Time Beres-Lee could be reached for comment, but we accidentally
deleted his reply as spam.
