FORT COLLINS, CO: NASA claims the Falcon Henne experiment was a
success, even if the 6-year-old failed to properly attend the
scientific instrument.
"Hey, we made all the papers," said NASA
spokesman and stand up comic Paul Palisoul. "Everyone was looking
up, paying attention to the weather. This will help boost Weather
Awareness and get us more funding from Congress. "
The project is in conjunction with the National Weather Service and
the Office of Naval Research. Other formerly unmanned devices are
under consideration for a manned mission. Plans include putting
appropriately-sized people in weather balloons, early warning tsunami
buoys and Mars rovers.
The involvement of NASA raises many questions. The space
organization denied they are leading up to a controversial project :
manned balloons sent to crash into the moon.
